Byadgi Kaddi chilli is a variety of chilli pepper, known for its deep red color, wrinkled pods, and relatively low pungency. Low Pungency making it suitable for dishes where a bright red color and mild spice are desired. Widely used in food preparations, including masala powders, pickles, and as a coloring agent. The chillies are a source of oleoresin, which is used in various industries as a coloring agent and flavoring. Recognized as a Geographical Indication (GI) product of Karnataka.
